Where are Cumin Cook classes held?
You will learn Indian cooking in my home kitchen. I live in the Perth Hills in the suburb of Hovea, about 10 minutes away from Midland.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. I will provide all ingredients and equipment. I will also provide containers for you to take away the food you have cooked. Once taken away the food must be refrigerated and consumed within 24 hours.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-in shoes. Please also have your hair tied back. I will provide gloves and an apron.
What is the class format?
The class is a combination of hands on and demonstration.
What is the class size?
There will be a maximum of six people.
I am not a confident cook, can I book into a class?
Absolutely. You don’t need to be an expert cook. The classes are informal and fun and suitable for all levels of cooks.
I don't like spicy (chilli) food so will these classes suit me?
You will be surprised to know that Indian food does not have to be chilli hot. I will teach you how to cook delicious food to suit your palate.
Will Cumin Cook cater to my dietary requirements?
At the time of booking you will be asked to provide details of any allergies or dietary requirements and classes will be tailored to meet your specific needs.
What if I cancel my class?
Once a class has been booked and paid for, a refund will not be made, unless a refund request is made at least 10 days before the scheduled class. In such instances 50% of the class cost will be refunded. If the class is cancelled by Cumin Cook a full refund will be made.
Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
At the time of booking we ask you to provide you details of allergies and dietary requirements, and take this into account when purchasing supplies. A transfer is allowable only 2 weeks prior to the class.
What do I do when someone gives me a Gift Voucher?
Please contact Cumin Cook for a booking code. There may be an additional amount to pay in case the voucher does not cover the cost of the class.
What if I lose my Gift Voucher?
If a gift voucher is lost it cannot be replaced or redeemed for cash. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions
What if Cumin Cook cancels a class?
I will endeavour to provide you adequate notice. You will receive an option of an alternative class or a full refund.
What if Cumin Cook changes a class format?
The class format may change from what has been advertised . However alternate dishes will be taught and you will not be disadvantaged.
