Indian Vegetarian Cooking with Prapti
 I am a passionate cook and learnt how to cook traditional Gujarati food at a very early age from my mother.
I have designed a number of classes that will take you step-by-step towards mastering the culinary delights of the various regions of India. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced cook there is a class for you. 
At the end of each cooking session you will sit down to taste the food you have cooked over a cup of chai (tea) or filter kapi (traditional South Indian coffee). And as you leave you will take with you the food you have cooked to share with your family and friends.
Cooking with Cumin Cook is really fun. You will learn the secrets of mixing and blending spices that are traditionally used in Indian cooking. I will share tips, techniques and secrets that have been passed on over the generations. I will also talk about Indian culinary traditions and the history of Indian food.
You will discover the versatility of Indian vegetarian food.  From curries to pakoras, vegetables to side dishes, raitas to fragrant pulaos; every dish is an explosion of flavour.  Indian food lends itself to a vegan diet and you will learn a myriad of mouth watering dishes to suit your vegan palate.
Classes are held in my home kitchen in Hovea, nestled in the pristine beauty of the Perth Hills.  
Hovea is only 10 minutes away from Midland in Perth.
