Service Description

With a hot arid climate, little or no vegetables grow in this desert state of India. Regardless, Rajasthani cuisine is rich and finger licking good, emanating from the culinary traditions of royal courts. Wheat and millets are staple ingredients and used to create a myriad of delicious dishes. Rajasthan's most famous dishes are dal-bati-churma, which is a meal in itself Today you will learn how to make: • Dal - this traditional Rajasthani dal uses five different lentils • Bati - this is unleavened bread, traditionally baked in a clay oven • Churma - bati is crumbed and sweetened with sugar and ghee • Gatte ki sabzi - chickpea dumplings cooked in a rich gravy • Pyaz ki kachori - deep fried pastry filled with a spicy onion filling You will finish with steaming hot chai (tea) and dhokla - a steamed savoury delicacy served with coriander chutney

Cancellation Policy

Once a class has been booked and paid for, a refund will not be made, unless a refund request is made at least 10 days before the scheduled class. In such instances 50% of the class cost will be refunded. If the class is cancelled by Cumin Cook a full refund will be made.
